Photo Friday with a winner

A recap of my week, via photos :)

As many of you already noticed, last Friday Kaylee got feathers in her hair. Yes, my child is much more trendy than I am, and I'm ok with that!

Saturday must have been pretty uneventful. I have no pictures to share. I know we went to a soccer game, and ran some errands, but nothing photo-worthy.

Sunday was Easter, and I already showed you most of my Easter pics. Here's one of Isabelle and daddy, since his picture doesn't pop up on the blog too often.

Kaylee was off school on Monday, and most likely due to extreme boredom, decided she wanted to go spend her money. She gets money every now and then, from the tooth fairy or for her birthday, but she never ever wants to spend it.
She counted it all out ($15! She's rich!) and we went to the store....but came back empty handed. She didn't find anything she really wanted, so her money is saved for another day.

Tuesday, I opened the freezer and got out the carton of ice cream to find this:
Yes, it was my doing, but who does that?! All it does is make me mad!

On Wednesday, we signed up for several upcoming races.
There are a few kid ones that Kaylee will run (a quarter-mile race, and a 1K) but the majority of them are 5Ks that we will walk together as a family. I love getting out and being active, but races are expensive!

For lack of anything better to show, on Thursday, Isabelle took a bath.
She's such a happy little bather.
And in case you doubt me when I tell you she's a chunky little monkey, allow me to show you this:
Just look at that big tummy!
And here she is, all nice and clean.

And today, for Friday, I selected a winner (via random.org) for the TruKid giveaway.
 Congratulations to Katie!
Katie, please email me at megandyanray at gmail dot com with your mailing address so I can forward it on to TruKid.

To those of you who didn't win, don't forget that you can go here to order from TruKid. I highly recommend it!

And make sure you check back next week for another great giveaway!

Please share: What was the best thing that you did this week?

  4. Awesome, I wish we did more "active" things as a family. Our active things are usually going some where or working outside in the yard.

I love Kaylee's feathers, too cute!and Issabelle is too adorable for words! (baby chunk is the best!)

The best thing I did this week was taking my Mother-In-Law to have her first ever pedi. She's never had a girl around to go with, and now she's hooked!

  15. I do the same thing to the milk that you do the ice cream. I'm always like "Who would put this away with such a pathetic amount left?? Oh wait..." :)

  16. I love those chunky babies! What a cutie

  17. I was the same way with my money! I'd want something so I'd save up the money and when I had enough, I didn't want to spend it. My brother was the exact opposite. I guess that's why he has so many more toys than I do.
