Playtime at the Park & giveaway

FINALLY.

Finally finally finally.

Spring {I think} has sprung.
We haven't killed our flowers yet =)

See, Mother Nature is a tricky little thing. She's been teasing us for weeks now, with an occasional warm sunny day, only to revert back to cold winter-like conditions. But we've maintained days of 60 degrees or higher for about a week now, and I. am. loving. it.

Once the weather is nice (or even when it isn't!) Kaylee's favorite thing to do is play outside. So we visited a nearby park and enjoyed the sunshine.
Kaylee's saying hi!

Isabelle is rocking her sun hat!
And yes, this time I remembered to apply sunscreen!

Can you find Kaylee?

You think I only have two kids, but sometimes it feels like I have three!

There's not a lot for Isabelle to do at the park,
but we include her when we can.

Even mommy plays sometimes too!

I really really really hope that Mother Nature isn't out to trick me again. We have nice weather,
I have new running shoes that I have yet to wear,
and we have a jogging stroller...

Do you know what that means?

Time for me to lose my laziness and start running! Maybe even today? I'll let you know!

And now....

I'm really excited about all my new followers! I keep finding a lot of new blogs that I enjoy reading, so it's a win-win situation for everyone. I actually decided I'm going to do two of my own giveaways, that way there can be more than one winner. (But don't forget, you're all winners to me!)
Seriously though, thanks for reading!

Our first prize pack contains...
FIVE of the Girl Scouts bakery's best! You'll receive a box of Lemonades, Peanut Butter Patties, brand new Shout Outs, Peanut Butter Snadwiches, and Thin Mints. Yum!

Giveaway closes Sunday, April 17 and a winner, chosen by random.org, will be announced on Monday the 18th.

To win, all you have to do is be a follower of this blog and leave a comment telling me your favorite spring time activity. Ready....go!

  3. My favorite springtime activity...does that mean I can only pick ONE?? How tragic!

Well, ONE of my favorites is napping a chair in the warm sun. If I weren't at work right now, that's definitely what I'd be doing!

  4. I like to take my kids down to the creek, when the water is running fast, and send stick boats or bottle boats down the small rocky water slope. (We take the bottles back home and recycle them)

Forget spring, you are dressed for summer! Did you take your shoes out for a spin?

  9. My favorite thing about Spring is the breezy days that are perfect for taking the little ones on a walk around the neighborhood. I love seeing all the flowers blooming around the neighborhood...I, however, manage to kill every flower in our yard!

  18. So jealous of your flowers! I'm not allowed to plant any yet because we're going to paint the house and they'd get trampled. I totally feel you on the three kid thing, I feel the same way.
