TruKid Review and Giveaway

I'm all about making healthy choices and finding healthy products for my family.

Many people might assume this is limited to food and eating, but it's not. This applies to skin care too, which is why I'm so glad we found TruKid.
TruKid makes a complete line of all natural skin care products for kids. From their website:
"TruKid products are BPA and Phthalate free! We make safe products that families can feel good about; our certified organic and natural ingredients are always SLS, paraben, 1-4 Dioxane and Gluten-free!
The Environmental Working Group (EWG) has awarded TruKid's entire line the safety rating of 0-2! THE SAFEST RATING of all kid's skin care lines!"

More than just making an all natural product, TruKid is also passionate about teaching kids healthy habits.
"But what sets us apart even more than our products, is our philosophy. TruKid™ strives to impact the world one healthy habit at a time. Through rhymes, songs, facts and more, we provide the tools your family can use to start forming healthy habits the fun way... You have enough to worry about, let us help you teach your kids healthy skin care habits to last their lifetime."

I soon as we received our TruKid products, which were so colorful and kid friendly, I immediately opened the bottles to smell them. I know that some all-natural products that I've tried in the past have not had the most pleasant smell, but I immediately loved these. They have a very fresh citrusy smell to them. Kaylee also liked the smell.

We both went to the bathroom to try out the soap. It lathered up nicely, and really left our skin feeling clean and smooth.

We both used the lotion afterwards and I loved it. It was really moisturizing, but not at all greasy. Again, it left a light citrus fragrance that I enjoyed.

Here's a description of the items we tried:

New Helping Hand Wash just for your little helpers. Safe and non-toxic! A nice way to help your kids get into the hand washing routine. Using actual hand wash (not hand sanitizer) removes more bacteria and germs from hands. To get hands good and clean, wash for as long as it takes to sing happy birthday! Happy Hand Washing! You can order it here!

New Super Sensitive Happy Face & Body Lotion. Directions: Great anytime, day or night, especially or after a bath or shower. Apply after you have used TruKid Bubbly Body Wash and TruKid Friendly Face Wash, to help your skin feel moisturized and happy. You can order it here!

TruKid Sunny Days 30+ SPF Sunscreens are gentle on the Earth and are safe for our oceans. Highly Rated on EWG for Safety. This new formula does NOT contain Vit. A For best results, reapply every 80 minutes. You can order it here!

Both Kaylee and I give TruKid our stamp of approval. She's been using the hand soap and lotion every day and there's a good possibility that this mama has been using it too :) TruKid offers many other products that we're planning on trying, such as Silly Shampoo, Cool Conditioner, and Dancing Detangler. I would assume these products are also great.
I would highly recommend TruKid to all families - I think making healthy skin care choices is very important.

You can visit TruKid's website and order directly from them.

  18. I don't have kids, but will make some in the near future, so kara said I should stock up on kid stuff.

I like soap, and my wife likes clean things, so I think I'd pick the soap. But then again, my wife burns like crazy in the sun, so maybe the sunscreen.
