Paper Coterie review and giveaway

One of my favorite parts about doing product reviews and giveaways on my blog is having the opportunity to discover new products and new companies that I otherwise would not have known about. Paper Coterie is one of those companies!
I was contacted and offered the chance to try any of the products that Paper Coterie offers in exchange for a review on my blog. Paper Coterie offers beautiful cards and stationary that is personalized just for you.
From their website:
"Paper Coterie is a circle of friends who are passionate about documenting the beauty of life well lived. Whether it's in a photo book, guest book, journal, or one of our custom personalized books, we'll help you capture the memories you want to save and share. We've also expanded our line of exclusive Paper Coterie calendars to include personalized calendars, desktop calendars, and wall calendars that allow you to document some of your favorite memories from month to month. Want to document your growing child? Don't worry. We have that covered. Choose from one of our personalized growth charts, wall décor posters, baby books, and shower guest books.
Exclusive collections of birth announcements, birthday invitations, Valentine's Day cards, Mother's Day Cards, Father's Day cards, and shower invitations. Finally, don't forget to look at our customer personalized recipe cards and recipe card sets."

I immediately started browsing their site, and found several things I really liked.
(Side note: I'm a bad mom, and I don't scrapbook or keep a baby book for Isabelle)
Therefore, I really liked their selection of premade books where you could add your own text and photos. I decided to make the "Our Girl and the Little Elephant" book.
It had a basic storyline that ran through the book, but you personalize it with your own photos, and some of your own text. It was really easy to make. You simply upload your photos, and drag and drop them to empty photo boxes. Paper Coterie even has editing tools included that you can use on their site. Likewise, for the text, all you had to do was click in the empty text box and start typing. Making the book took no time at all.

Likewise, the shipping was really quick as well. I received my book within days of submitting my order.

The book itself is really great quality. It's a hardcover book, which I like, and the page quality, picture clarity, and color quality is all fantastic. Right now, I'm not handing it off to my little Isabelle, but in a few years, I think she will LOVE it. It's full of pictures of her, fun little facts about her, sweet little poems about baby girls, and a sweet little story about all the possibilities she has in her life.

I would highly recommend Paper Coterie to all my friends. In addition to the book that I received for free, I also ordered an ABC book for Isabelle (again, full of pictures with Isabelle, but then also your basic A is for apple with a picture of an apple, B is for ball with a picture of a ball, etc) and a hardcover, personalized journal with lined pages for me. Again, very happy with the quality of those as well.

Paper Coterie wants to invite readers of loving the little things to experience their awesome products as well. TEN LUCKY READERS!! will be selected to win a promotional code worth $40 off of any order, plus free shipping, on their website! What an awesome, generous giveaway!

To enter, please leave a comment on this post, sharing with me your favorite way to document all your precious memories. Do you scrapbook? Keep a journal? Blog? Keep photos in boxes?

Giveaway closes Friday, September 2 at 9:00 am CST.
Winner will be selected via random.org, announced on the blog, and notified by email on Friday, September 2. Good luck!

In the interest of full disclosure, I was provided with the previously mentioned products as part of a promotional program with Paper Coterie and Mom Select. I received no compensation for my review, and my thoughts are entirely my own.

  1. wow, what a nice giveaway!

I started Clara's baby book, but haven't touched it in months. Haven't been great about getting prints made either since I returned to work and got so busy (sigh). Think I will do a yearly photobook of her... it will take forever to cull down the images and create the perfect layout -- but so glad to know of this company and its quality! (I've had photobooks from shutterfly and the quality was pretty bad)

    Hope you're doing ok :)

  2. I'll join you in the "bad mom" club. Baby #1 - I completed ONE page of a scrapbook and a few pages of a baby book. Baby #2 and #3...I don't think they even have baby books.

These days, uh, you kind of know I PHOTOGRAPH everything! Sadly, most stay on my PC. I'm trying to fix than and have more printed and framed.

I made and ordered a similar book like this a couple of years ago. The overall look was nice, but wasn't thrilled with the printing.

I trust you on this if you say the quality is good. :) Happy for YOU to receive such nice books for little Isabelle...and I'd be happy to have one, too! ;) (Wink, wink.)

  6. We make a lot of photo books around here - I have one from my husband from our anniversary, one we received with a bunch of fun wedding pictures, and ever since Ellie came on the scene, we have a LOT more photo books! (One of her time in the NICU, one from this summer, I made one for Father's Day for my husband...)

Anyway, was checking out the guestbooks from Paper Coterie... my brother-in-law is engaged, this might be fun for his fiance!

  8. So cute and fun! I haven't done any sort of photo album yet for Nora. Was thinking about doing a photo book now that she is one of all of our memorable photos from each month during her first 12 months. Your book looks adorable!

  9. I really wish I was a good scrapbooker, but I'm not. :( So I blog, print out pics, order photo books and calendars. I am working on a slideshow that I would put on a CD for her to keep for her first bday.

  10. I LOVE things like this. I need something quick and easy like that. I have tons of scrapbooking supplies, but never use them. I have baby books for my girls, but haven't written in them in months. I usually just write things down in my calendar book I keep in my purse, in hopes of one day actually writing it in the baby books.

  11. First of all, Isabelle's book is so precious! It's just great!
I've been keeping a baby book and sticker calendar for Landon. Not really into scrapbooking, but this is exactly what I've been wanting to do is create the online photobooks to document his life!

  12. Making a photo book has been on my to-do list for a while.

Baby #1 - completely finished beautiful scrapbook. Baby #2 - pile of paper and photos in a rubbermade bin waiting for more time. Even though I swore #2 would get the same as #1.
    sigh.

  16. Until recently it's been blogging but I've been a lazy blogger as of late.... :) I do make random photo books which I love to pull out from time to time. My only really consistent documentation is posting everything without fail on Facebook. I figure then I can go back to it later on. lol

  23. Hiiiiiiiii!!! My first comment EVER!!!
I wish I was better at scrap booking too but that takes time AND money. Both of which this college girl does not have. I like to stick to the phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words". My room is COVERED in picture frames full of wonderful memories that I let speak for themselves! Also, I love this giveaway... and YOU!
