Just thought I'd come back to this post to let you know I got Aubrey the free card from Santa. :) It was super cute. She read it and then just sat there for a little while. Then she turned to Clayton and asked him to read it to her. After he did, she sat there for a good 30 seconds more in silent and then whispered "I DID read it right. I just got a letter from Santa."
ReplyDeleteThen she had to call all sorts of people to let them know. :)
Other cute story related to this... the next morning I asked if she thought the baby would get a letter from Santa next year since babies can't be "good" or "bad". She considered it (very seriously) for a moment and then said "I don't know but if Santa doesn't then I'll write Peyton and pretend to be Santa so she doesn't feel left out."
Completely 100% melted my heart. :)
